Daily live indoor shows featuring cast of creepy crawlers begins August 15

Aug. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Las Vegas, NV - You wouldn't want to come across the desert tarantula, bark scorpion or centipede in the midst of a star filled night but you'll be intrigued to learn about the essential role they play in helping to maintain the delicate balance of our desert ecosystem. Get up close—or not!—as the secrets of the Mojave’s most remarkable insects, arachnids and other invertebrates are revealed, only at the Springs Preserve's newest show. They crawl, sting, and hiss. Can you handle the ick factor? Will you squirm in your seat? We guarantee it!

Two live indoor shows daily at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. from August 15 - September 5, and weekends September 10 - 25. Show times subject to change, visit springspreserve.org for details. This new live animal show is free for members or included with General Admission. $9.95 Adults, $4.95 Children 5-17, those 5 and under are free.

There are a variety of gift options to choose from starting with an Individual membership ($25), a Family membership ($60) which includes two (2) adults and up to 6 children or grandchildren in same household ages 5 - 17 (children 4 and under are always free), or a Bronze Family membership ($100) which includes all member benefits plus extras including free stroller rental, preferred parking, and 2 free guest passes. About the Springs Preserve
Located three miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip, the Springs Preserve is a 180-acre national historic site featuring botanical gardens, trails, historical structures, restored wetlands, wildlife exhibits, a child’s play area and a 1,800-seat amphitheater.
