Free Back2School Haircuts for Atlanta-Area Boys Sponsored By DTLR

Aug. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- The first day of school is right around the corner and urban retailer DTLR in partnership with the Chauncey Davis Foundation and Albert Mills of Video Image Barbers is helping families keep this Back2School season affordable by offering free haircuts for boys at DTLR Memorial Bend (5228 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain, GA) from 1 – 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 7.

“We recognize that the economy is still struggling and many families need assistance with preparing for the Back2School season,” said Sherri Goodall, DTLR community outreach manager.  “We have partnered with local barbers to provide free haircuts for boys in the Atlanta area in an effort to help ease the financial portion of the Back2School season.”

Each child that gets a haircut will get a book bag filled with school supplies.  The book bags were provided by New Era and the school supplies provided by The Chauncey Davis Foundation.
