Follow on Google News | Free E-Learning Program Brings A Whole New World of Technology to SeniorsThe world’s first live e-learning service is changing the lives of seniors nationwide and is now available completely free of charge to the general public.
By: David A. Cox The service brings a virtual classroom into the homes of thousands of adults four times per week. Classes range from basics like e-mail and web browsing up through advanced skills like video editing and photo stitching. To sign up, users fill out a short form at www.TechTalkAmerica.com and receive one e-mail a week which includes the classes to be offered for that particular week. One click transports the user to a registration page where they enter their name and e-mail address. The service delivers a confirmation e-mail with a unique link that when clicked (at the time of the class), launches Tech Talk Academy’s software which completely self-installs. Participants can see and hear the teacher as well as the teacher’s screen. Participants have a text window where they can send their questions and get them answered live. Tech Talk Academy has quite an age diversity, ranging from 11 years old to 93. “It’s said that every successful invention takes a social problem or issue and offers a solution,” said Cox. “We have created a solution to help educate the masses when it comes to technology in a way that is intuitive, friendly, and best of all... free!” End
