Sonelis Technologies Debuts the LumiTouch Solar Touchscreen for Tablets

Sonelis Technologies debuts the Lumitouch solar touchscreen, a ground breaking solar touchscreen design for tablets. The first Lumitouch prototype is designed to fit tablets with 9.7inch touchscreens. The idea behind the Lumitouch is to maximize the power efficiency of electronic devices by directly embedding solar panels into the touchscreen glass. The solar panels overlap with the borders of the tablet’s LCD screen, thus, the aesthetics of the tablet are not changed. With proper charging circuit optimization, the Lumitouch could extend the battery life time considerably even when placed indoors. Sonelis, a specialist in custom solar modules, can customize the Lumitouch to fit tablets of other sizes.
