Aug. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Inca Kids, an Atlanta based fair trade venture announced today the launch of their fall/winter collection featuring unique hand knitted accessories in collaboration with Peruvian designer Gilda M. Otero.

The collection includes hair clips for both girls and women, warm headbands, which is the alternative to not-so-fashionable ear muffs or earflaps and other accessories.  However, the highlight of the collection is a limited selection of hand knitted jewelry carefully crafted by the designer herself in high quality cotton string.

The jewelry collection is available online at http://www.IncaKids.org and at 5 Continents Gallery in Buckhead (326 Pharr Rd, Atlanta, GA 30305); a co-operative or artists representing more than 32 countries around the world (http://www.5continents.us)

"I have enjoyed crafting every single hair clip, headband and jewelry piece knowing that it  will take a little bit of Peru, our textiles, yarns and craftsmanship into the homes of a clientele that appreciates fairness in trade and the uniqueness of the design"  mentioned designer Gilda M. Otero while finalizing the project.

Inca Kids works exclusively with skilled yet unprivileged Peruvian artisans to craft unique accessories, toys and holiday decor using traditional techniques and natural materials.  All products are 100% fair trade and support collaborative and equalitarian workplaces.
