The decision was taken to move in June of this year, when it was realised that Crane Gates, with recession defying sales figures, had out grown the workshop it had moved into in 2008.
With the cost of fuel increasing all the time, and with most of Crane Gate's employees, and many of their suppliers based in Telford, the decision to move back to Shropshire was an obvious one. Being closer to suppliers would also mean savings made from lower fuel costs, could be passed on to Crane Gates customers.
