GTP Adds Director of Key Accounts

Aug. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Dennis Lerdahl has been named Director of Key Accounts. In this position, he is responsible for the southeast regional accounts from Texas to North Carolina, along with handling large key accounts across the US and abroad, providing education of BIM (Building Information Modeling) to the field and increasing awareness of the GTP products and services.

"I never imagined GTP would grow nearly 300 percent within one year," says Todd Liebbe, President of GTP. "Dennis' experience and knowledge of BIM, especially to the construction management side, brings another resource to GTP which we were seeking for the southeast region and the rest of the nation. We are confident that his skills and experience will be a resource for our customers in the quickly growing BIM field."

Lerdahl most recently left Leica Geosystems to join GTP and began his career with Trimble Navigation. He is currently serving as co-chair of the BIM Texas Alliance, in College Station, Texas, along with leading multiple BIM peer groups. He plans to expand his education of BIM throughout the southeast, especially with the AGC chapters and universities in this region. Currently he is working on research projects with Texas A&M and Skanska USA Building. In August, he will undertake another research project with the University of Texas, Austin.

A resident of Rosenberg, Texas, Lerdahl served in the US Marine Corp at Camp Pendleton, Calif, where he received an honorable discharge in 1999. He is the proud father of one-year-old Connor William. In his spare time, Dennis enjoys hunting, fishing, and anything he can do outdoors.
