FIAT Opens Its Doors in Ontario, California

Aug. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- Italian automaker FIAT has recently come to market in the United States, launching its “500” model with great popular interest and awareness. FIAT’s most recent venture in Southern California is FIAT of Ontario, a new addition to the Ontario Auto Center and the OREMOR Automotive Group, family owned and operated dealerships that have been serving California since 1971.

As Mike Retes, Brand Manager at FIAT of Ontario explains, “This year, FIAT has really garnered the attention of auto enthusiasts in the US. The simple vehicle lineup makes shopping easy, and because the 500 is so stylish and has incredible gas mileage at a surprisingly affordable price, we think FIAT of Ontario is the next big dealer in the Inland Empire.”

Prior to opening its doors on August 3, 2011, and with virtually no publicity, FIAT of Ontario had already received hundreds of calls and emails asking when the 500 would be available.

“I’ve seen a few of these 500’s popping up around my neighborhood recently. They really stand out, without being off-the-wall pretentious,” said Jesse Springer, an Orange County resident who plans on test driving the 500 at FIAT of Ontario this month. “It’s a car that just makes sense for so many people. It’s extremely compact and fuel efficient, but because it’s so lightweight, it really zips. On top of that, I’m six foot two, and I’m hearing that people even taller than I am are more than comfortable driving the 500.”

Says Retes, “I’ve been working in the auto industry for years, but FIAT of Ontario is the most exciting venture I’ve been a part of so far.
