About the Photojournalists

Hector Emanuel (http://www.hectoremanuel.com), who was acclaimed by the World Press Photo Foundation for his documentation of the civil conflict in Colombia, will be showcasing a selection of photography from Colombia, Cuba, and other socially and politically charged nations. Emanuel is a Peruvian-born photojournalist who focuses on social and political issues in Latin America and the US. His photographs have been widely exhibited and he regularly contributes to TIME, Newsweek, Men's Journal, Washington Post Sunday Magazine, as well as the American Red Cross and Amnesty International.

Edward Keating (http://www.edwardkeating.com) inspired by the aesthetic of Robert Frank, will present photographs of iconic New York scenes he shot while driving a NYC cab. He is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist and was a staff photographer for The New York Times for 11 years.  His "New York City" images have been exhibited at Leica Gallery in New York and most recently at the Pingyao International Photography Festival in Pingyao, China. In 1992, he began photographing for "Vows," the weekly wedding column for The New York Times. His work at the Times led him to cover diverse subject matter including "Race in America," a view of a pork processing plant in North Carolina for which he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize and a cross-country view of Route 66.

Joe McNally (http://portfolio.joemcnally.com) was voted one of the 100 Most Important People in Photography by American Photo as well as one of the 30 most influential photographers of the decade by Photo District News. McNally will be showcasing never-before-seen landscapes, many of which were photographed while on assignment for leading publications including LIFE AND TIME. His career spans over 30 years and he has shot cover stories for Fortune, Newsweek, and The New York Times Magazine. He is currently a 23-year contributor to the National Geographic.

Robert McNeely (http://www.robertmcneely.com) is the curator of the inaugural collection of photographs for VandM (http://www.vandm.com). He is most famous for his work as President Clinton's official White House photographer from 1992 to 1998. He will be offering candid street photographs taken while traveling the world on assignment. Robert's interest in photography began while serving in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  His fascination with politics began in 1972 when he was hired as staff photographer on the “McGovern for President” campaign. In 1977 he entered the White House as a staff photographer to cover Vice President Mondale. In 1992 he became the campaign photographer for Bill Clinton and moved to the White House with Clinton as his personal photographer, where he documented the president’s life until 1998.  His work with President Clinton was published in the book "The Clinton Years."
