Family & Friends Day at Jericho City of Praise Church a Great Success

Aug. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- LANDOVER, MD July 25, 2011 – Family and Friends Day at Jericho City of Praise Church in Landover, MD was a great success.  On July 31, the church hosted an outdoor concert and carnival.  The Life Givers Ministry of the church organized the event to support the local Boys Town Village.

The activities were free and open to the public and gave the church an opportunity to fellowship with its neighbors in the community and members of the congregation.

“The principle focus of everything that we do at Jericho City of Praise is worshiping God and winning hearts to Jesus Christ,” said Pastor Peebles, “Family and Friends day gave us an uplifting opportunity to Praise the Lord and fellowship with our neighbors.”

The crowd was inspired and blessed with performances by the Jericho Mass Choir, Janay Peebles, Outreach 247, Kevin Levar and Restin Jackson.  Activities included laser tag, carnival rides, a backyard obstacle course, moon bounces, and mind winder.
