Sunbury Press Bestseller List for July 2011 - "The Final Charge" keeps the pace!

Aug. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Camp Hill, PA - "The Final Charge", a recently  released Civil War novel by Charles K. Godfrey about three re-enactor friends who find themselves participating in the real Pickett's Charge in 1863, grabbed the top spot overall. Carolyn Perry's gripping Hurricane Katrina memoir "For Better, For Worse: Patient in the Maelstrom" led all eBooks for the month and finished second overall. Fiction books grabbed seven of the top ten spots overall and eight of the top ten eBooks.

Three of Wade Halverson's 187 series volumes ranked 3rd, 4th and 5th in the overall ranking as the author ramps up his campaign at Mixed Martial Arts events.

Chris Fenwick's "the 100th Human", Sunbury's all-time best-seller, ranked second among eBooks. Tom Malafarina's "99 Souls" ranked third. Several other fiction entries performed very well as eBooks, but not in print.

The company reported continued growth in eBook sales as compared to print. Sales of Kindle and Nook books rose 38% month-to-month and now account for 6% of overall sales in revenue and 13% in volume. The company plans to raise eBook prices accordingly to an average price of $7.99 and will be ending the 99 cent "Try Me" pricing campaign.
