Aug. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Raleigh, NC -- MyComputerCareer.com has announced the hiring of Peter J. Manglaviti, III to the position of Director of Education at the corporate level. Mr. Manglaviti will be focused on expanding the company's course offerings to meet changing market demands; standardizing curriculum, policies, and education protocols across all campuses to exceed national standards for accreditation; and provide guidance from both the academic and IT industry perspectives to lead the company's anticipated expansion, nationally.

"I knew MyComputerCareer was the right place for me when I saw [Founder] Tony [Galati's] vision and the school's commitment to student success. Sadly, that perspective is lacking in much of post-secondary education today. MyComputerCareer has done so much right in getting to the point where they are. I simply plan to intensify and expand that success by bringing some additional structure and forward-looking strategy to the organization," Mr. Manglaviti said.

Peter Manglaviti brings over 13 years of broad experience in Information Technology (IT) to his new role. He has served as a software Programmer/Developer, Network Administrator,  IT Trainer and Training Director, as well as a Technology Administrator (CIO) in both business and academic environments and currently holds 26 IT industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA and others.

In a previous role as IT Training Developer at Ozarks Technical Community College Center for Workforce Development in Springfield, Missouri, Peter designed and implemented all IT related certification courses, mentored new IT instructors, advised campus administration on IT issues, and helped the college achieve "fastest-growing community college" status nationally in 2009.

"We're so excited about having Peter on our team," said Tony Galati, Founder and President of MyComputerCareer.com. "His understanding of the academic environment combined with his technical skills and broader knowledge of the technology marketplace are just what we need to take our school to the next level." The addition of Mr. Manglaviti to the management team is just another indication of the organization's commitment to excellence and growth in the IT education marketplace, Mr. Galati said.
