Three Tarts Hosts Ice Cream Social On National Ice Cream Sandwich Day

July 29, 2011 - PRLog -- New York -  Tuesday, August 2 is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day and Three Tarts Bakery + Boutique is hosting a gathering of ice cream fans. The Chelsea dessert destination - named one of the top ten places for dessert in New York by TimeOut New York Magazine - is inviting ice cream aficionados to an Ice Cream Social.

The Social - from 6pm-8pm on August 2 - will feature 2 for 1 specials on all of Three Tarts house made ice cream sandwiches.  Three Tarts will also be announcing the winner of their ice cream sandwich contest and unveiling the winning flavor - which will be one of the flavors available during the evening.  

Joining Three Tarts at the Social will be author Laura B. Weiss who will be signing copies of her book,  Ice Cream: A Global History and sharing the delicious history of one of the most well-loved desserts.
