AUTOPACIFIC PRESENTS KIA MOTORS AMERICA WITH 2011 VEHICLE SATISFACTION AWARD

On July 21, the team from AutoPacific officially presented Kia Motors America (KMA) with the 2011 Vehicle Satisfaction Award (VSA) for the 2011 Sportage during a ceremony at KMA's Corporate Headquarters.

More than 120 team members were present as John Crowe, vice president, service and aftersale operations, accepted the award on behalf of KMA.

Sportage was named the top vehicle in the Compact Crossover SUV category, based on feedback from owners.

Sportage scored 10 rating points higher than the second place vehicle and received high marks from owners for delivering strong value and overall satisfaction in the category.

Meanwhile, the 2011 Optima posted significant increases in positive owner feedback, ranking second in the Premium Mid-Size Car category.

High marks for both Sportage and Optima helped the Kia brand move up 12 positions in the 2011 survey, one of the industry's largest increases.

AutoPacific's study summarizes the results from more than 68,000 new vehicle owners to determine winners in each vehicle segment.

The 2011 Sportage was selected for delivering value and high levels of satisfaction across 48 separate categories that objectively measure the ownership experience. In addition, the study helps consumers sort through the 262 car and truck nameplates presently available in the U.S. to make wise purchase decisions.
