Winston–Salem Counseling Center Hires New Executive Director

July 29, 2011 - PRLog -- WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.  – Winston-Salem’s Trinity Center, Inc. (www.trinitycenterinc.com/) has hired Lynn J. Brown, a consultant with Hogan Brown Loomis, LLP, as its new Executive Director effective August 1. Trinity Center is an ecumenical center offering a variety of counseling programs, including individual, marriage and family therapy, educational testing, psychological testing, and psychiatric care, as well as spiritual direction and educational programming.  

“Lynn brings a variety of gifts to Trinity Center,” says Ann Dixon Coppage, M.A.Ed, Trinity Center’s current Executive Director.  “His combination of business understanding, appreciation of our mission of wholeness and his desire to have work that integrates the spiritual made him the perfect person to lead Trinity Center into the future.”

Coppage, who founded Trinity Center with two other women 29 years ago, has acted as Executive Director for 10 years. “I have believed it was time for Trinity Center to have a new Executive Director to grow and develop Trinity Center in the broader community,” Coppage says. “The board, staff and I have been working toward this goal for six months.” Coppage is a licensed professional counselor and will continue seeing clients at Trinity Center.  

With Hogan Brown Loomis, Brown provides strategic planning, marketing/sales consulting and executive coaching to mid-sized, privately held companies. Prior to founding the consulting business, Brown was the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Wachovia Corporation. He has also held positions with Bank One, Kraft Foods and Leo Burnett Advertising.

“Lynn’s model of leadership is very inclusive, and the board and staff are very excited to be working with someone who has his leadership philosophy and vast experience,” Coppage says.
