Translatemedia Re-awarded Worldwide Industry Quality Standards

July 29, 2011 - PRLog -- Thursday 28th July, 2011- TranslateMedia, the global language service agency, has received new ISO9001 and EN15038 certificates after a successful re-audit. These standards are globally acknowledged, and are used to verify quality management systems used in the production of professional translations.
Awarded by Bureau Veritas, the ISO9001 award recognizes a company’s ability to meet the broad needs of customers and other stakeholders. The Standard deals with the fundamentals of quality management systems. Independent auditors rated TranslateMedia’s processes as “world-class, not just in this industry, but in any”.    
The EN15038 certificate, by contrast, is specific to the translation industry. Being the original quality standard for the provision of Professional Translation Services, TranslateMedia was one of the first language service agencies in the world to receive this award in 2007.
The Standard has since gained worldwide acceptance, with the EU beginning to include it as a benchmark for its tender requirements.
