Microsoft, the world’s largest software company, has been actively seeking early adopters from their thousands of partners to sell Microsoft’s new Office 365 cloud service. Office 365 is a suite comprised of Microsoft’s most popular productivity software including Office 2010, Exchange, SharePoint, and Lync (previously Office Communications Server). Microsoft has built a group called “Cloud Champions” which is comprised of Microsoft partners that are making an active step towards offering cloud solutions to their clients. These partners are seen as “early adopters” and are being recognized from Microsoft for learning the new technology early. Cloud Champions will receive special training and attention from Microsoft to help build interest in the Office 365 offering.
Cloud computing is Internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices on demand.
"CCP and Mavidea are thrilled to be accepted into the Cloud Champions program with Microsoft. We understand that the future of technology for businesses is cloud computing and we are excited to provided previously unaffordable technology to our small and medium sized clients for a small monthly fee.” Mavidea’s Chief Technology Officer, Jamie Mathy
