The Irving seminar will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m at the Shermco training center, 2425 E. Pioneer Drive. The cost of the seminar is $50 or sponsorship, and one CEU will be issued for each attendee.
Topics at both seminars will be: general arc flash awareness and NEC requirements, changes to the 2012 edition of NFPA 70E, and 3rd party acceptance testing and engineering, which will include information on coordination studies, arc flash studies, load flow studies, equipment evaluations, power quality and predominant use studies.
“This seminar will be extremely beneficial for individuals employed with engineering firms as well as consultants, as it is imperative they keep up to speed with the latest standards as well as proper procedures relating to electrical equipment to ensure accuracy in all projects,” said Hancock.
