Prior to showing his own newest clothing collection, Daniel Hernandez, founder/owner of DH Studios, 316 Newbury Street, Boston, will put the spotlight on Dani Rose. The fashions from Danielle Costaible will open Hernandez’ Fashion Presentation, “Anomaly,” on September 27, 2011 at VENU, 100 Warrenton Street, Boston, part of Boston Fashion Week.
Even as an undergraduate, Danielle created two collections which were sold through The Garment District in Cambridge. Her new collection looks to the future, with a nod to a past legendary. Danielle, the young designer behind Dani Rose, considers her work, “...a brand of clothing designed for confident women who are not afraid to push the envelope.” Using current luxurious fabrics, which are hand-painted with rich colors, her collection will have basic natural elements, and silhouettes inspired by the Father of Art Deco, Erté, and his clever Feather Gown.
The collection is entitled “Loquita.” Definition: slightly crazy/offbeat or a term of endearment? To discover the true meaning of “Loquita” from Dani Rose, plan to experience “Anomaly” during Boston Fashion Week.
