July 27, 2011 - PRLog -- BLAIRSVILLE, Pa. – Visitors to Empire Farm Days interested in escaping the toil and time of setting fence posts by hand can check out a hydraulic post driver demonstration courtesy of Kencove Farm Fence Supplies.

The Pennsylvania-based company will return to the 908 West Potato Digger Ave & 1042 SE Main Tent locations with a Kiwi Skid Steer post driver as the centerpiece of this year’s display. Kiwi post drivers are renowned in the fence building community for their reliability and versatility.

“A skid-steer hydraulic post driver like the Kiwi is just a huge time and labor saver,” said Bonita Whalen, a longtime Kencove product specialist. “You can drive so many posts in so little time when compared to using a manual post hole digger and tamper. With a Kiwi driver, you can also expect a dependable machine that will last many years.”

Visitors can watch the post driver demonstrations at the West Potato Digger Avenue booth.

The post driver demo isn’t the only thing Kencove is excited about at the 2011 show. The company has rolled out several new products in the past year, including the Solar Dolly™ for portable electric fencing and a braided electric twine for rotational grazers. Product specialists will be on hand to talk about these new innovations and also to answer questions and dispense helpful hints on everything from high-tensile brace building techniques to electric netting installation. Visitors can also take home free post driver DVDs and various product literatures.

“Farm fencing is an area where sharing knowledge of techniques and tips helps everyone build the best fences,” Whalen said. “Events like Empire Farm Days allow us to share what we know and also to learn so much from others. We look forward to seeing many new and old faces.”

Empire Farm Days runs from August 9 to August 11 at the Rodman Lott & Son Farms in Seneca Falls, New York.
