RecruitMilitary to Present Civilian Jobs/Opportunities Expo for Veterans in San Jose on August 25

July 26, 2011 - PRLog -- Cincinnati, OH -- RecruitMilitary, a military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will present a free civilian employment, business-ownership, and education Opportunity Expo for job seekers who have military backgrounds at Parkside Hall in San Jose on Thursday, August 25. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.
   
RecruitMilitary expects more than 30 employers, franchisors, and educational institutions to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are the Air Force Reserve, AutoNation, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Columbia Southern University, DeVry University, DS Waters, Eaton Corporation, Goodman Manufacturing Company LP, Grand Canyon University, HighCom Security Services, ICDC College, Lockheed Martin Corporation, the National Veterans Employment Program (NVEP) of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Prudential Insurance Company, TechSkills of San Jose, The Art Institutes, The Home Depot, Troy University, Verizon Wireless, the Veterans Business Outreach Center, and Waste Management.

RecruitMilitary (http://www.recruitmilitary.com) will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (http://www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.4 million members in nearly 14,000 posts throughout the world. Congress chartered the association in 1919.

RecruitMilitary has scheduled 22 additional Expos for 2011. Those events will take place in Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Norfolk, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Tacoma, and Tampa.
