PRLog - July 26, 2011 - CHICAGO -- CHICAGO – Nextpoint, Inc., the nation’s leading provider of cloud-based regulatory, compliance and litigation products, announces the release of full iPad support, including streaming deposition video and additional deposition interface advancements in its Trial Cloud product designed for pre-trial data/evidence preparation. Though always accessible from any web browser, it is now even easier to browse transcripts and create deposition designations in Trial Cloud, even from an iPad.
The latest Nextpoint Trial Cloud enhancements include:
• Full iPad support, including streaming deposition video.
• Enhanced controls for creation and editing of designations speeds workflow and mitigates accidental user errors.
• Continuous scroll functionality eliminates the need to load individual pages and allows rapid viewing of entire transcripts with mouse-wheel scroll — or a two-fingered scroll on the iPad.
• Improved search results interface delivers users to exact search-term location in deposition.
Current Trial Cloud customers will be pleased to know that the best features from the previous depositions interface were retained in this release. Things like associating documents with a deposition, or importing lists of predefined designations, work exactly as they always have.
“It’s quite a kick to see a new device like the iPad integrating itself so quickly into people’s daily workflows,” stated Nextpoint VP of Research & Development Ben Wolf. “We think the latest Trial Cloud improvements make Nextpoint software even easier to work with for people with an iPad, and we’re excited that these enhancements also benefit our customers using traditional desktop browsers as well.”
