Hickory BMW Dealer Offers BMW Drive for Team USA Event

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 25, 2011 - Hendrick Motors BMW is proud to announce that the BMW Drive for Team USA event will take place at their Hickory, NC BMW dealership on July 27, 2011.  The fundraising event is intended to help foster Olympic excitement and help connect the Hickory community with Team USA.

The Drive for Team USA fundraiser will include test drives of the all-new 2012 BMW 650i Convertible.  For every participant who registers and test drives a BMW at the event, BMW of North America will donate $10 to Team USA, up to a maximum donation of $200,000.  The donations will help USA athletes both train and compete in the Olympic and Paralympics games.

BMW is a long supporter of the Olympic Games.  BMW’s North American VP of Marketing Dan Creed said about the event, “BMW Drive for Team USA allows us to do exactly what we have pledged from day one: help raise awareness and additional funds for the Olympic Movement, especially in non-Olympic years.”
