July 25, 2011 - PRLog -- “Above the Board Construction works on recently awarded contract at Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis-Chord, WA

Puyallup, WA—(July 10, 2011) – Above the Board Construction (ATB), today announced a recently awarded a contract via J&J Maintenance, Inc., Austin, TX-Under USA Army Corps of Engineers-Mobile District contract.  The contract calls for Architectural and Structural work in support of the Repair Troop Command /DENTAC Command Building 9908/9909.

Kevin Stephen, Operations manager at Above the Board said, “We are experiencing a number of government awarded contracts.  This particular contract is for two buildings involving demolition and replacement of doors, roof, Anti-Terrorism rated windows, drywall, ceiling, flooring, title, painting, thermal and moisture insulation, concrete work including ADA standard access ramp. Casework/millwork and miscellaneous metals and carpentry work”.

The project is at currently at 60 % completion.  This type of work is right down the proverbial alley of ATB, a full service contractor covering the gambit of new construction and remodeling of commercial and private jobs.  

Officials with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers announced billions of dollars in construction contracts will be up for award under the largest Military Construction Program since the early years of World War II as part of the newly-formed Centers of Standardization across the country.
