Massachusetts Golf Tourament Will Benefit Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry Campaign

July 25, 2011 - PRLog -- Cookie Central will be "Driving For No Kid Hungry" on Monday, September 26th, 2011 at Merrimack Valley Golf Club in Methuen, MA for their 1st Annual Great American Golf Tournament.  This 18 hole scramble is a part of Cookie Central's 3rd Annual Great American Bake Sale to fight childhood hunger in America and will be the final event for their 2011 fundraising campaign.

Great American Golf Tournament will commence with a 8:00am shotgun.  Registration fees will include breakfast, lunch on the turn and a dinner reception in the clubhouse immediately following the tournament.  The tournament will consist of a variety of games including a $10,000 hole-in-one, $1,000 closest to the pin and $10,000 putt-off.  Mini contests will be featured on various holes throughout the course, giving participants the opportunity to win special prizes.  A raffle will also be held, featuring gift card and product donations from local area businesses.

Tournament Sponsorship is available for businesses that want to support the event.  Vendor tables are also available for local businesses that are looking to promote their company.  Cookie Central has also opened up the event to non-golfers, offering dinner tickets for the reception/raffle portion of the event.  Volunteer positions are still available for the morning of the tournament.
