July 22, 2011 - PRLog -- "Should we in the Tea Party successfully stand our ground and the debt ceiling is not raised it will force everybody to show their hands."  wrote controversial past chairman of the largest and most high profile Tea Party organization.  Mark Williams, past chairman and lead speaker of the Tea Party Express wrote that:  "What gets funded out of the $200+ billion that the government takes in every month and what doesn’t will show everyone’s priorities, as well as assign actual meaning to phrases such as “shared sacrifice”.   That scares the heck out of them, and it should, they’ve been able to hide behind demagoguery, euphemisms and Newspeak for far too long.  Value will be returned to both the currency of our language and the Dollar."

Williams, who left the TPE after 4 national tours to some 180 cities in more than 40 states also said that he is personally proud of his work: "The second realization is that I am suddenly extremely proud to have been part of this revolution.   I could not be prouder that the movement now encompasses more than 6,000 Tea Party groups, millions of individuals, a Capitol Hill Gang of 87 and that we have moved with historic speed from flag-waving rallies to concrete action toward reform."
