July 22, 2011 - PRLog -- For the past year, the PineCone Bluegrass Jam has made its home in the Busy Bee Café in downtown Raleigh, and to celebrate the year-old partnership, the Busy Bee will donate 10% of all food and drink sales from The Hive the night of Monday, July 25 to PineCone, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, presenting and promoting traditional music!

Music will start at 6 p.m. with members of the Clear Run Band and Nixon, Blevins & Gage, as well as other special guests who have graciously volunteered to join in a specil hour-long pre-jam round-robin!

The jam will run as usual from 7-10 p.m. Though the jam is free and open to the public, there will be a $5 suggested donation at the door, or just $1 for musicians; all proceeds from the door will also go to PineCone. Your donation will also enter you into the door prize drawings. Prizes include:

-Gift certificate for a workshop at High Strung Violins & Guitars in Durham
-$25 discount for instrument repair at Guitar Workshop in Raleigh
-CDs from Tommy Edwards; Nixon, Blevins & Gage; The Grass Cats
-Night on the Town: Busy Bee gift certificate & pair of tickets to Hot Rize Oct. 9 concert in Raleigh
