Follow on Google News | IMC Club Opens South New Jersey ChapterIMC Club International, Inc., headquartered in Massachusetts, opened its twenty ninth national chapter in Millville, New Jersey this week.
David Burton will host the new chapter as Chapter President. David is a CFI, CFII and MEI with 6,700 flight hours and has given over 4000 hours of flight instruction. He is also a Contract Charter Pilot, currently flying Eclipse Jets and formerly flying Gulfstream G2’s and G3’s. David is actively involved as a FASSTeam member in his area. IMC Club is thrilled to have a pilot of David’s caliber hosting the newest chapter of our organization. Reached for comment, David Burton said: “I am even more excited about the program now than I was before. I look forward to serving the aviation community by helping to get more accomplished IFR pilots out there. Training is something I love to do. I also have a son who is a CFI, CFII and MEI and works as a “Freight Dog” flying Barons, Navajos and Caravans. He is also actively involved with the FASSTeam and conducts seminars when he can find the time. ” One of the primary goals of IMC Club is to increase pilot confidence and proficiency by training in actual instrument conditions. The club was established as a learning resource for instrument-rated pilots, and for students pursuing their Instrument Ratings. To accomplish this, monthly meetings are held at local chapters around the country to help pilots and students build and maintain their IFR skills, and to share stories and tips from their fellow pilots.
