PRLog - July 21, 2011 - NEW YORK -- The World C.L.A.S.S. “Inspiring Strong Minds To Mobilize For The Greater Good”
EvI Enterprises has launched a social initiative to introduce a new class of globally-minded professionals celebrating:
Culture . Leadership . the Arts . Selflessness . Sustainability .
On Friday July 8th, 2011, The World CLASS was officially launched with an event held at Rubin Museum of Art in New York City. GRAMMY and EMMY Winners were in attendance along with other leading minds in the Tri-State Area. 50 lbs. of food was collected and donated to City Harvest, Non-Profit partner for the New York Chapter. Thank you to Zenergy Massage Studio for providing the raffle for the evening which awarded one lucky attendee free chair massages for their entire office.
The World CLASS is committed to the expansion and maturity of socially-conscious business leaders, worldwide, standing by a hybrid business model: making money while making a difference!

EvI Enterprises has designed a persistent model to be replicated in cities across the globe. A top-down, multi-city effort to enact widespread social change. (ie: World CLASS New York, World CLASS London, World CLASS Hong Kong, etc.). "Thinking Globally"
Chapters will hold monthly mixers gathering wholehearted leaders in culturally-rich venues, taking a qualitative, solution-based approach to networking akin to a think tank atmosphere. “We are not selling, we are solving!” Each Chapter City will be teamed with a local non-profit partner(s). Admission to a monthly mixer is complimentary. However, at least one in-kind donation item per attendee is required to ensure entry (ie: canned foods, books, clothing). All items are then donated to regional non-profits on behalf of The World CLASS on a monthly basis. "Acting Locally"
NON-MONETARY POLICY :: In an attempt to reduce corruption, greed and today’s hyper-obsession with money, sponsorship dollars will be refused, fees will not be charged, financial donations will not be accepted. There is no funding or compensation of any kind. Bartering and collaborative partnerships only.
This is symbolic, intended to spotlight conscious capitalism, heighten empathy, recalibrate ethical standards and promote creative thinking. No money will be made, no money will be paid.
An Advisory Board of award winners and top-tier executives is being assembled to help shape strategic objectives and further elevate the group. (GRAMMY : EMMY : OSCAR : TONY : PULITZER)
Our CAUSE :: In-kind donations from the New York Chapter of The World CLASS will benefit City Harvest: ending hunger through food rescue and distribution, education, and other practical, innovative solutions. City Harvest feeds 300,000 New Yorkers a week.
