PRLog -- Ashford Publishing is honored to announce that Patricia O’Regan Brown is one of our newest members. Mrs. Brown was the former owner of Derma Clinic European Day Spa, a mainstay in Westport’s Playhouse Square shopping center for many years. Derma Clinic began by offering basic facials, massages and spa packages. Over the years, the clinic has expanded their services to meet the needs of their clientele. Along with being a savvy business woman, Mrs. Brown is very active in her community and strongly believes in giving back. Patricia Brown hosted many fundraising events for local nonprofits at Derma Clinic, including the Westport Police Department’s Bulletproof Vest Fund and the Women’s Crisis Center. She also hosted the “Celebration in the Square” gala to benefit one of her good friends, Paul Newman. The gala was to benefit Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Camps, where she helped to raise over $100,000. Patricia also volunteers at the Westport Homeless Shelter, and she enjoys bringing fresh fruit to the residents and also brings along her German Sheppard, “Amore” whom they enjoy visiting with. Mrs. Brown also works closely with the Westport Police Department whom she commends. Along with being a volunteer, Patricia is also an animal activist and an avid golfer. Mrs. Brown got married at the age of nineteen to her wonderful husband Thomas H. Brown, Jr, the former director of ‘Radio Free Europe’. Often Mrs. Brown would accompany her husband on his many business trips, and together they have traveled the world.
