SMRP Houston Chapter to Host 5th Annual Maintenance and Reliability Symposium (MaRS)

July 21, 2011 - PRLog -- MaRS 2011 is a 2-day symposium for maintenance and reliability professionals in the Gulf Coast area. The symposium tracks are based on the SMRP Body of Knowledge, which contains five validated pillars of information essential to the success of maintenance and reliability professionals. These five pillars are Business Management, Manufacturing Process Reliability, Equipment Reliability, Organization and Leadership, and Work Management.

"The theme for this year's symposium is 'The Future of Maintenance and Reliability.'   Last year, nearly 200 professionals attended the symposium and we expect over 200 attendees this year.  A golf tournament will be held on Wednesday in conjunction with the Symposium which supports the organization's scholarship program ," said Houston Chapter Chair Clay Naiser.
