The Hotel Okura Macau opened in May 2011 and is one of the three luxury 5-star hotels in the brand new destination resort Galaxy Macau™ which is situated in the Cotai district between the islands of Taipa and Coloane. Hotel Okura Macau offers 500 guest rooms, including 60 suites. These range in size from the 46m2 Deluxe Rooms to the larger 84m2 Junior Suites, with Superior Suites measuring up to 99 m2, as well as a sumptuous Imperial Suite and Royal Suite providing between 115-127m2 of luxurious living space. All rooms have flat-screen TVs in the bedroom, as well as in the spacious bathroom, wifi connections and complimentary use of the gym and swimming pools. Moreover, the hotel offers 6 well-equipped function rooms with a total of 550m2 functional space catering for wedding, conference and events.
Hotel guests can enjoy the Grand Resort Deck covering 52,000m2 and leisure facilities include the world’s largest skytop wave pool, with waves of up to 1.5 metres in height, covering 4,000m2. Taste buds are being well catered for with over 50 restaurants, bars and lounges across the resort. Culinary delights at the Hotel Okura Macau range from the outdoor, all day dining ‘Terrace Restaurant’ which blends western style dishes with Asian favourites in traditional Japanese Bento treasure boxes; whilst the ‘Nagomi’ Lobby Bar & Lounge blends Japanese culture with the serving of traditional ‘Wagashi’ confectionary with its afternoon tea.
