Fras-le Announces Hiring Of Two New Sales Professionals For Light Vehicle Business

Veteran aftermarket executives, Kevin Judge and Cory Cheever, will help company expand its sales efforts into the industry

July 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Northville, Mich. – July 19, 2011 –– Fras-le North America Inc., one of the largest friction material manufacturers in the world, has announced the hiring of Kevin Judge and Cory Cheever to help boost the company's North American light vehicle aftermarket business.

Judge will serve as the company's East Coast sales manager for the light vehicle aftermarket, while Cheever will be responsible for Fras-le's West Coast aftermarket sales efforts in light vehicles as sales manager. Judge and Cheever will report directly to Randy Mordue, the director of sales and marketing for Fras-le's North American commercial and light vehicle aftermarket.

"We are excited to announce the hiring of these high-caliber professionals with many years of experience in the brake business to our sales team," said Mordue. "The addition of Kevin and Cory will help elevate service levels to our automotive aftermarket customers."

Judge most recently was vice president of national sales for Ruiyang Automotive Materials. During his career in the aftermarket, Judge has worked as manager of national installer sales for Honeywell CPG, vice president of marketing and vice president of sales for Dana Brake and Chassis, vice president, marketing, automotive division for Carol Cable Company and executive director national account sales and northeast region sales manager for Monroe Auto Equipment. He's also worked for Brenton Productions as vice president of sales and marketing and for The Bellwether Group as director of new business development. Judge holds a B.A. degree in business management from Northwood University.

Cheever comes to Fras-le from the Affinia Group, where he most recently was the company's Fleet Sales manager. In that position he was responsible for directing all Raybestos fleet sales in the western US and Canada . Before that he served four years as Affinia's CSK/O'Reilly account manager. Prior to joining Affinia, Cheever was a district sales manager for Dana Corporation (Clevite Engine Parts) from 1987 to 2005 calling on WD’s and PER’s in the western region. He also has seven years of experience working at Stern’s Auto in Tucson, AZ as a commercial sales representative.
