This year’s program, themed Far Beyond the Blue Sky, will feature a keynote address by Dr. Jay Apt, an author, former astronaut and professor of Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and the Department of Engineering and Public Policy along with a stunning visual presentation of the most recent two decades of human space flight.
Prior to the evening, attendees will choose a book about space around which they will decorate their table on the day of the dinner. Tables will be judged on creativity by a panel of judges and awards will be given. Cocktails will be served at 6 p.m. and silent auction items will be on display with raffle tickets on sale. Also, throughout the evening, guests will be able to vote for their favorite table and the table with the most votes will receive the People's Choice Award. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
