The Denver Business Journal ranked the surveyed companies based on the percentage of growth for fiscal years 2008, 2009 and 2010. Participating companies were then grouped to achieve the maximum amount of competition among like-sized companies. This year’s list ranked private companies in five flights, based on total revenue. E Light was recognized as the fifth fastest growing privately held company in the “Flight II” category, designated for private companies with revenues between $15.1 million and $49.2 million.
