Chelsea Rae Gregory, Miss South Carolina International & Fairy Godmother Proj.of Music City Partner

July 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Chelsea Rae Gregory, Miss South Carolina International 2011 has partnered with the Fairy Godmother Project of Music City in Nashville, TN on behalf of the Sandbox Organization who are hosting a "prom" benefitting Levine's Children's Hospital patients.

Chelsea has been combing pageant sites asking for donated prom and pageant gowns that will be used for the patients of Levine's in order for them to enjoy a prom they may have missed due to their illnesses.  The prom, hosted by The Sandbox Organization, will be held on September 24, 2011.  A fashion show is being planned by The Sandbox in order to raise additional funds that will enable the children to have a night they will never forget.  There is a need for an estimated 100 plus gowns and Chelsea has hit the quota with the help of The Fairy Godmother Project of Music City and RPM Productions who are the directors and recruiters for Miss SC USA, Miss NC USA, and Miss LA USA.  

The Fairy Godmother Project of Music City consist of five women, friends and colleagues, who came together to help with needs in the greater Nashville community. Drop off locations include Wedding 101 in the Factory at Franklin. A beautiful logo was designed by Brittany Fuson for the organization.  A company overview of The Fairy Godmother Project of Music City consists of it's listing as a 501c3 organization created in 2010 to serve the needs of the Nashville community.

The Fairy Godmother Project of Music City hosts an annual Prom Dress Give Away each year for the young girls of the surrounding Nashville community who cannot afford to buy a gown themselves.  

The Sanbox serves individuals and families that are facing challenging circumstances and obstacles in their lives, both emotionally and financially due to terminal disease and/or circumstance. They are committed to working with each unique individual that they encounter.

Their mission reads;  "At times, everyone needs some empowerment in their lives and in The Sandbox, we are digging deep and banding together for our community; finding ways to improve the lives of families in need in the greater Charlotte region. Chelsea Rae Gregory is a resident of Tega Cay, SC and will be competing in the national pageant for the title of Miss International 2011 in Chicago July 24-31.  She will return after the pageant to continue her work with various charities and especially her work as a National Affiliate for CHADD, the organization supporting those with Attention Deficit Disorder.

Mentors-Matter is a non profit founded by Chelsea Rae Gregory, Miss SC International. The program offers workshops, support groups and a website resource that helps students with learning disabilities get into college and be successful in life.
