Point Lookout Chamber of Commerce Announces Website & New Directory/Community Guide

July 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Point Lookout Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of its new Website, Business Directory and On-Line Guide. This initiative, the Chamber's first online presence since its inception, will both increase local business exposure and help support the local Point Lookout economy.

The new website, developed by Chamber member Richard Zampella, is designed to
support local businesses, promote the community and engage Point Lookout businesses and residents in the Chamber’s local business advocacy programs.

“With more and more consumers and businesses turning to the web and using local
online search options to find businesses and services, we are pleased to provide
this newly created web portal to offer Point Lookout residents the ability to check
local news and contact our members” said Adde K, President of the Point Lookout
Chamber. “It is our hope that providing an easily accessible database online, along
with community information will help stimulate local consumers. By offering online
local business listings, we are encouraging interaction and patronage of goods and
services between Point Lookout residents and local merchants in an effort to
encourage a positive economic development climate."

Among the site’s key features:

Content-rich press room, featuring Point Lookout Community News as well as a monthly
Events Calendar.

Streaming video, audio and photo galleries of Point Lookout Events.
Online store, providing consumers a source for Point Lookout apparel, beach bags,
stamps, and postcards.

Facebook and Twitter pages promoting business community networking, delivering
business referrals and showcasing special member offers.

extremely valuable promotion for our local businesses,” added Adde K. “We want local
consumers and businesses to shop with Chamber members first, and the directory and
website will significantly help facilitate this objective.”
