Women’s Initiative of Flagler County 3rd Annual Purse and Jewelry Auction and More!

Flagler County, FL - The Women’s Initiative of Flagler County, under the United Way Volusia-Flagler Counties, is excited to announce their 3rd Annual Purse and Jewelry Auction and more!

This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Monica Wofford, CEO of Contagious Companies, Inc. Through her real world experiences as a manager starting at age 18, a CORE® MAP Coach to high achievers, a College Professor, Conference Coordinator, Regional Training Director for a Fortune 500 company, author, and accomplished speaker, Monica combines her knowledge and skills with her degree in Speech Communication, Masters in Business Administration and extensive education in personality profiles, to deliver high energy, real world information to her captivate audience. “Monica is energetic, passionate and inspirational. When she agreed to speak at our signature event, we were thrilled,” said Sandy Mullen, the group’s chairperson.

Not only will the event include this ‘contagious’ speaker, it will feature the highly anticipated Purse and Jewelry auction. Last year’s donated items were completely sold out. They ranged from brand-name gently used purses, to new and gently used fashion and fine jewelry.

For the first time this year, the Women’s Initiative’s “Woman of the Year” award will be presented to one deserving volunteer at the event. Last year’s winner was Linda Mahran, the group’s Policy and Steering/Strategic Planning Committee Chair.

The event will be held at the Palm Coast Yacht Club, located at 1 Yacht Club Drive in Palm Coast, FL on August 31st from 6-8 pm. Tickets are $30 and include dinner.
