The panel will discuss the challenges associated with care giving and dealing with someone who is in pain or suffering and the associated concerns surrounding these issues. It will take place on July 17th, 2011 at 4.30pm in the Lookingglass Theatre at the Water Tower Water Works, downtown at Michigan Avenue and Pearson.
“I was excited to have an opportunity to share my caregiving experiences with the public,” said Minnie McDowell, Caregiver. “I believe The Last Act of Lilka Kadison is art imitating life but the panel discussion will provide a chance for real life issues to be discussed because of this fantastic production.”
Minnie is an experienced caregiver at Freedom Home Care and has worked with all sorts of clients with various illnesses and diagnoses (e.g. Dementia, Alzheimer's, Hospice Supportive Care, assistance with all other activities of daily living). Minnie has been a caregiver for over 25 years.
