Announcing a new online store offering healthy snacks made from roasted lentils and legumes as well as freshly prepared, handcrafted Indian sweets.

The online http://www.punjabsnacks.com store is an offshoot of the retail store, Punjab Sweets, which is a family-owned and operated restaurant/bakery.  Punjab Sweets has been operating successfully at their Kent East Hill location since 2001, and recently with the demand for shipping to domestic and international locations, we have just established our on-line presence at Punjab Snacks.  The online store originated from the demand at our retail location requesting shipments of our snacks and sweets.

The salted snacks are a healthy alternative to potato chips and processed snacks that are readily available in the market today.  They are high in fiber and protein and low in fat content.  The zesty flavor from fresh ground Indian spices gives it the perfect blend.  They can be enjoyed with coffee or tea, as part of a trail mix selection, salad topper, as well as tasting great with your favorite cold beverage.

The sweets are all made from scratch and offer tastes such as pistachio fudge, cashew fudge, and other popular pastries baked with fresh cardamom and Rose flavor.  The sweets have received numerous accolades in prestigious magazines in Seattle over the years including Seattle Metropolitan, Seattle Magazine, Sunset Magazine, and now in the book “Food Lovers’ Guide to Seattle” by Keren Brown.

"Food reviewers near and far have said some of the best Indian food in the Puget Sound area is created by a Kent restaurant whose reputation for excellence just keeps growing." Seattle Times, The Shop SE

The new Punjab Snacks Website http://www.punjabsnacks.com is very colorful and attractive and easy to navigate throughout the various pages.  It is also an interactive website with blog posts,  Facebook comments http://www.facebook.com/PunjabSweets, and Twitter updates.

Based in Kent’s East Hill area, Punjab Sweets is a popular destination for Indian cuisine.  The restaurant and bakery are open daily from 11 to 9, serving lunch and dinner as well as offering a wide variety of homemade sweets and snacks, ideal for those craving authentic Indian cuisine or health conscious individuals seeking alternatives to fat-laden snacks.

Nowadays, people expect quality food that the taste buds enjoy as well as providing the essential nutrients and minerals.  Punjab Snacks will definitely exceed their customers’ expectations.
