July 14, 2011 - PRLog -- The South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will be presenting a series of free workshops collectively entitled the “2011 Entrepreneur Empowerment Series”. The events will begin on August 4, 2011 and conclude on October 9, 2011.

Small business owners face many challenges when starting a business. Among many useful topics, the Entrepreneur Empowerment Series will focus on educating small business owners about planning, organizing, financing, marketing, and managing their small businesses in South Carolina. The goal of these workshops is to instill confidence in Hispanic business owners throughout the Palmetto State about the essentials of starting  and managing a small business.

Classes will be held on Thursday evenings in August and October. The first session will be conducted in English, while the second session will be in Spanish. All SCHCC members will have the opportunity to enroll in a Business English course at Greenville Technical College at a discounted price.

In addition to four weekly lectures, the SCHCC has also invited a representative from the United States Census Bureau and the United States Department of Labor.
