Venkatesan (Venkat) Purushothaman joins Emergys’ Global Trade & Logistics practice as a Principal Consultant and has worked with fortune 500 companies and Multinational IT Services giants implementing and integrating SAP ERP, SAP PLM and SAP GTS products and solutions.

Venkat has extensive experience with various SAP R/3, ECC, PLM and GTS product suites and solutions across multiple industry verticals like Logistics, Transportation, High Tech, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Professional Services, Re-Insurance, Manufacturing, Industrial Machinery & Components, Engineering Construction and Operations, Banking and Telecommunications; along with  strong hands-on functional and technical experience with Global Trade Services (GTS) components like SPL, Embargo, Legal Reg., ERP modules and specializes in financials, cProjects, xRPM on the xAPPs side of SAP PLM, ABAP programming, IDoc and ALEs.

In SAP Global Trade Services, Venkat has international implementation experience in compliance (SPL, Embargo and Licensing) and customs management (Import/Export) working on blueprinting, configuration, data transfer, testing, end-user training, go-live and support. Venkat has performed various roles during his 15 years of IT experience.  With his deep knowledge and extensive experience in international trade regulations, Venkat has been an huge asset to the client and the project teams, providing thought process and brainstorming ideas to arrive at solutions that best fit the Customer’s needs.

Gavin Anderson joins Emergys as a Senior Consultant and will focus on Global Trade Management specifically SAP’s Global Trade product and integration services.  In SAP Global Trade Services, Gavin has experience in compliance (SPL, Embargo and Licensing), customs management (Import/Export) with certified solutions such as ACE and ATLAS.  He has also implemented risk management with Letter of Credit, and Preference processing.  Prior to joining Emergys, he was responsible for implementing Paymetric’s proprietary payment card solution on SAP systems for customers.  Gavin also spent over 15 years with various other companies including HP, RCG and Barclays Bank implementing various financial solutions.

Having worked with SAP for over ten years implementing and configuring various modules of SAP and ABAP programming across various industries, Gavin offers the unique ability to gather business requirements, build the solution using configuration and ABAP, test, and teach.  He is considered the total package for any GTS implementation.
