Dawn Bernstel Joins IBS as Director of Customer Care

Real Estate Tech Firm Enhances Best Practices to Accommodate Growth

July 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Dawn Bernstel of Lanoka Harbor, N.J., has joined Totowa-based Integrated Business Systems (IBS) as Director of Customer Care. The 31-year-old property management and accounting systems provider serves more than 100 prominent commercial and residential real estate owners, developers and managers.

Bernstel brings more than two decades of experience in customer service, software, real estate and accounting to her new position. Her role centers on defining and implementing customer care strategy for IBS' Software Support and Network Services teams.

"IBS clearly is a company that has embraced continuous improvement, and its staff is deeply focused on providing a positive experience," Bernstel said. "At the same time, the firm is growing. In order to uphold this high customer quality of life, it is important to standardize processes, which is where my skills set and focus offer value."

Bernstel currently is implementing a new customer resource management system at IBS. "The team is energized by the change," Bernstel said. "Everyone is eager to expand their knowledge as we evaluate best practices and enhance our approach to customer care."

Prior to joining IBS, Bernstel for five years partnered in an executive consulting firm, NewDawn Strategies, which focused on process improvement. Over the past 10 years she also has held director-level customer care positions with Opus-ISM LLC and SSA Global, and served as controller at Diane Turton, Realtors.

Bernstel's studies focused on accounting and business management at Colorado Technical University, and she completed a master practitioner certification, with a Motivational and Coaching concentration, from the NLP Awareness Center in Toms River, N.J. While with SSA Global, she completed an internal "Real World MBA" course. Bernstel maintains active memberships in the Association of Support Professionals, Best Practice is Customer Satisfaction Worldwide, Best Practices in Call Center Worldwide, Software as a Service Group, and Neurolinguistic Programming.

The IBS software addresses virtually every property management, accounting and construction management task, and the company maintains an ongoing development program to ensure that it embraces technological advances and meets the changing needs of its client base. The IBS system today features the fully browser-based IBS 10.0i product. IBS can be run as an Intranet within a firewall and corporate network, or over the Internet via an Application Service Provider (ASP) model.
