Thanks to Haven’s customer-focused culture, the growing company has built on last year’s success ensuring its high standards are maintained. Major energy users scored Haven highly in categories such as billing timeliness and clarity and SME businesses were impressed by Haven’s competitive price, delivery of promises and strong product range.

If asked, a staggering 80 percent of Haven’s MEU customers would recommend Haven as a supplier, and 77 percent of Haven’s SME customers are likely to renew their contracts with the company, showing that outstanding service is key in retaining customers.

The Datamonitor B2B Energy Consumer Survey took place between February and May 2011 and provides insight into the relationship between consumers and suppliers. The sample includes 1,500 respondents who spend under £50k per annum on energy, and 700 respondents who spend over £50k per annum on energy across Great Britain. Interviews were performed with the person responsible for buying energy for the business over the telephone and were typically between 25 and 45 minutes long. The survey covers three core areas: Demographic analysis of the market segments, customer satisfaction, and other in-depth interactions between client and supplier. Customer satisfaction is broken down to three further areas to represent the total life-cycle of a customer: Procurement and contracting, billing, and account management and query resolution.
