The 2011 Chelsea International Fine Art Competition exhibition showcases the remarkable artwork of juror-selected artists from around the world. These talented artists work in a range of media and explore a wide variety of subjects and themes, united by their shared commitment to sincerity of expression and creative eloquence. They were chosen by competition juror Elisabeth Sherman, curatorial assistant at the Whitney Museum of American Art and together their works represent what is most exciting and innovative about contemporary art.
As part of an ongoing commitment to “giving back to the community we live and work in,” Agora Gallery will be donating 25% of its proceeds of the sale of artwork from the competition exhibition to the non-profit organization Art Start. Through its innovative programs, Art Start brings together art, artists and children in need throughout the Metropolitan Area.

It is famous for showcasing a spectacular array of talented artists from around the world and around the corner, while providing quality and original art to collectors. Gallery II, an elegant adjacent gallery space, gives artists the ideal area for a solo or group exhibition of their own, organized and publicized by Agora Gallery. The gallery publishes ARTisSpectrum Magazine, a bi-annual magazine that is distributed to museums, galleries, art institutions and art schools around the world. It provides artists, collectors, museums, galleries, art organizations and enthusiasts with access to the work of international talented artists as well as feature articles, reviews and interviews. Agora Gallery is the proud sponsor of ARTmine, one of the most comprehensive resources available worldwide to view and purchase fine art. The gallery also runs Agora Art Blog, a blog designed to provide helpful information and advice for artists while providing a forum for artists to help one another by sharing their experiences and thoughts.
