Ping! Zine Launches Digital Magazine For iPad

July 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Ping! Zine, the longest-running and most widely read print magazine for the Web hosting industry, today launched an innovative digital version of its magazine for iPad and other mobile devices, offering original articles, current news and other exclusive interactive features.

Ping! Zine Digital, which will be published monthly and is unique from the company’s traditional print magazine, will enable subscribers to read and interact with content, access rich multimedia, and share articles and videos with friends. Like the print magazine, there will be no cost to subscribers.

In partnership with Yudu.com, Ping! Zine plans to broaden its digital footprint in the coming months. In addition to its application for Apple’s iPad, similar applications are being developed for iPhone and Android-based devices, which includes mobile phones, tablets, and even televisions. A Blackberry application is also available. Ultimately, the new platforms will enable Ping! Zine to be a much stronger magazine.
