Spellbinders Paper Arts Expands Designer Collection Die Templates

Announced at 2011 Winter CHA, the Donna Salazar Designer Collection was Spellbinders’ first entrée into licensed designer brands.  Donna’s playful nature comes across in many of her products and classes because she believes that art can and should be fun. Donna is known for blending contrasting elements to create what she calls her “Girlie Grunge” look. Her style is especially appealing to mixed media artists.  Nevertheless, her love of flowers and all things sparkly appeals to crafters of all types and styles. In Donna’s latest release of designs for Spellbinders, she took what she loved about the first die sets and added in new features that make these new die templates over the top fun, yet functional at the same time.

The Samantha Walker Designer Collection of Accents, Tags and Clocks is influenced by Samantha’s childhood memories of the colorful 1970s and many travel experiences.  She loves the juxtaposition of retro, clean-lined graphics, peppered with just the right amount of detail. Samantha also loves bold patterns and repetition of design, which can be seen in her fabric and paper and now, Impressabilities® and die templates with Spellbinders. Samantha draws inspiration from some of her favorite pastimes: shopping at thrift stores, children's picture books - from classic to fun and funky - and ogling sassy shoes with sleek style and outrageous detail.
