Doors Open with KTCollection at RS POP Shop in Manhattan

July 12, 2011 - PRLog -- The KTCollection opens doors at RS POP shop at 501 Lexington Ave. in Manhattan, NY from July 3-31 2011. July 7th marked the opening celebration in which customers and guests to preview the jewelry line and meet Katie Thompson, the designer of KTCollection.

KTCollection's conception is as organic as the jewelry itself, which infuses classic lines with an urban flair. In 2002, while Katie Thompson was working as a junior editor at an alluring New York magazine, she creating captivating piece of jewelry that caught the attention of other editors.  When Thompson began designing pieces for these editors, word of her talent spread quickly and soon, her jewelry was being sold in boutiques all over the city.  Stars like Drew Barrymore, Giselle Bundchen, Tori Spelling, and Amy Adams took a keen liking to the amazing jewelry line.

KTCollection has evolved into a brand with a distinct look, inspired by Manhattan's fashion world, as well as Katie's travels.  She likes to mix New York's edgy street style with timeless gold and silver designs. She finds rich stones and brings meaningful pieces from her travels to her line.  Thompson has mastered the art of creating trendy, yet timeless classic pieces of jewelry. The trends of the season may change, but KT collection's pieces remain classics, made to last beyond just one season.

The KT Handmade line is made with sterling and 14-karat gold-filled chains. Pendants are sterling silver and vermeil (sterling silver dipped in gold) unless otherwise noted. Handmade pieces are designed and made in New York City.
