Cambridge Architectural Featured at SCIN Showroom and Library in London

Metal Fabric Applications Showcased in Surfaces and Materials Exhibit

PRLog - Jul. 11, 2011 - CAMBRIDGE, MD… Cambridge Architectural, the world’s most experienced – and only – full-service provider of sustainable architectural mesh systems for both interior and exterior building applications, will be showcasing it latest and most unique mesh products and systems at the Surface Covering INteriors (SCIN) showroom in Central London, UK.

SCIN is a UK-based sourcing and advisory company that uses institutions, publications, fellow material researchers, manufacturers websites, blogs, trade shows and events to source materials from all over the world. SCIN’s surfaces and materials showroom unveils some of the most innovative materials ever conceived, and fully immerses its visitors in the world of materials. The goal of the showroom is to inspire those walking through and to provide a “second studio” for those exhibiting.

Cambridge Architectural’s “second studio” at the SCIN showroom will spotlight its latest interior, exterior and multi-use metal fabrics and systems, especially those built for wall cladding, ceilings and solar shading. For those already familiar with Cambridge, their exhibit will provide a new, fresh outlook on the company and the future of its mesh applications.

With a solar shading mesh panel as its backdrop, and a draped mesh ceiling system incorporating the patented Eclipse™ attachment overhead, Cambridge’s exhibit will mirror the company’s experience and unique design capabilities. Numerous mesh samples, along with imagery of successful, prominent installations will be highlighted.

“The SCIN showroom is a natural progression in growing our brand internationally.  It will provide us with an avenue to show current installations and applications for our architectural mesh systems,” explains Chad Raymond, International Sales Manager for Cambridge Architectural. “The showroom gives us an environment where we can reach UK architects and designers.”

Cambridge’s display at the SCIN showroom, located in Area F1, will open on September 5th, 2011, and will show for two years. The showroom’s address is Morelands, 5-23 Old St, London EC1. For more information, visit http://www.scin.co.uk/showroom.php.

Cambridge architectural mesh systems broadly feature woven metal fabric, enhancing lighting, texture and the beauty of the materials used within interior and exterior spaces.
