St Barnabas President & Ceo William V. Day Wins Ernst & Young Not-For-Profit Entrepreneur Of The Year

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 11, 2011 - St. Barnabas Health System is proud to announce that the organization's President and Chief Executive Officer, William V. Day, was presented with the 2011 Ernst & Young Not-for-Profit Entrepreneur Of The Year® award in the Western Pennsylvania region.

Ernst & Young's awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Day was honored with this award at the annual gala at the Westin Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. on June 10, 2011.

St. Barnabas Health System is Pennsylvania’s largest health care concern of its kind. William V. Day’s 44 years of leadership, faith and ability to attract and retain an outstanding workforce has resulted in four decades of growth, hundreds of building projects, thousands of lives touched and millions of dollars in free care to the less fortunate.

After winning the regional award, Day is now up for consideration for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year® national program.
